I guess they have scared the sh*t out of people

Smoke of Satan & the Open Windows of Vatican II

Its bad enough that if you want to have a hand sanitizer in a reasonable amount of time, you must make it yourself using 2/3 cups of isopropyl alcohol and 1/3 cup aloe vera gel; mix it in a bowl without getting it on your hands and pour (using a funnel) into an empty liquid soap bottle.

If it is antiseptic wipes, however, good luck with that one. Orders on line won’t arrive until June if you’re lucky.

God knows what ever the problem is with the toilet paper situation (and paper towels) however. That is another item that only the young and brave who are willing to fight over the latest shipment will immediately fill their carts to the brim with. My best guess is that these people must be scared sh*tless.

In the meanwhile, those people that they denied access to toilet paper are clogging up the sewers…

    Hello Scoop,

I suggest you rename this post `The Mile of Bog-roll’.

I’ve been trying to think of the passage of Scripture that is most apt for the current crisis and Joseph, with the seven years of plenty and seven years of famine springs to mind.

In that crisis, Joseph exploited his God-given information. He took grain from the Egyptians during the years of plenty and then sold them back their own grain at exorbitant prices during the years of famine, so that by the end of the good crisis, Pharaoh owned all the land.

This sowed the seeds of the resentment that built up over 400 years leading to Israel being forced out of Egypt at the beginning of Exodus. The Israelites, settled in the land of Goshen did not have to pay these exorbitant prices and remained the land-owners in Goshen.

Right now, the government is using this crisis as a great excuse to increase its powers. It all looks somewhat fascist to me – in some countries the police fine people on the spot if they catch them out-of-doors and taking a walk.

This is going to end badly. Of course, some `Christians’ will tell us how it is such a wonderful opportunity (in the case of Joseph, it did sow the seeds for the Exodus and the Israelites eventually arriving in the promised land).

    1. Personal rights and liberties have been slowly giving way over the years but something like this does speed things up to a point where people notice it. I guess we’ll just have to. see how “temporary” our government’s “temporary” truly is.
